Blackjack Experiment day 15

Started with a push and it was a sign of things to come.  Pretty average hands as the dealer twice twisted to 21, leaving me cursing with a 19 and 20 both time.

Highlight was a two Aces split, one went bust, the other twisted to 21 with 5 cards which pays 2:1 so i broke a little more than even on that one.  Stopped the rot, two days with losing.

Blackjack Experiment DAY 14

Finally a win, only £3 but I have stopped the rot.  Got off to a good start this time, pushed the first hand and won the next four, then it was on off with winning hands with the dealer finishing with a Blackjack, like he didn't have enough of them yesterday.

Blackjack Experiment DAY 13

Day 13, unlucky for some, and in particular me.  What could be worse than a £8 loss from the day before, how about another £8 loss today. Three Blackjack and three twists to 21 in the first 6 hands, not me, the dealer.  How unlucky is that.  I am surely due a win tomorrow.  May go £5 hands!

Not many games today but the SPL starts and Gary Hooper of Celtic is in decent form and a massive 7/2 for first goal against a poor Aberdeen.

Fucking disaster today, lost 8 hands and pushed 2, so i have lost all my profit and have now lost 4 days on the trot.

I thought i might win some money today but no, really bad set of cards and I ended up £3 down for the 10 hands.

Blackjack Experiment Day 10

Started with  Blackjack, then had two 10s in my next hand against a 7.  Excellent i though then watched as teh dealer pulled out a 4 and a King.


That sort of summed up the game, decent chances, had a split and double down that lost and the last hand a lost 20 against the dealer's Blackjack.  Still, i am still £8.80 in profit and due another win, 10 days played with 5 wins and 5 losses.

Unlucky start, had 20 and the dealers twists to 21, the head dropped.

Decent set of cards, had two Blackjacks but ended up 60p down, mainly due to doubling a 8 against a 6 on the last hand.  I ended up with 1 and the dealer got an Ace.

Blackjack Experiment Day 8

Bit of a weird start today with three pushes in the first three hands followed by two wins then a couple os losses and a Blackjack. All in all I ended up £1.20 in profit pushing my total profit to £10.20 after 8 days.

More importantly i have beaten the Casino on 5 out of 8 days using my Blackjack system.

Blackjack Experiment Day 7

Day 7 and another profit, this time £7.  Bad start, lost the first hand but had 5 straight wins including a good double down and ended with a decent run of three wins and a push.

So after a week of doing this I am £9 up.  Over the course of a year that's £540 so here's hoping that this keeps going.  On the plus side i have been in profit more than having a loss.

Blackjack Experiment Day 6

Nightmare, lost the first three hands and in total only won two hands out of the 10.  That said I only lost £3 due to a couple of pushes so I am still in profit overall.  No highlights today, just a disastrous ten hands.

So after six days I am now £2 up, still in profit i suppose but that's the only positive.

Blackjack Experiment Day 5

Day 5, and a 20p gain so I am now £5 up in total.  Not a big win but a win is a win.  Started off weel, won the first 2 hands then a push with the 3rd followed by a Blackjack.  Then lost a couple, won a couple then had a double down on 9 v the dealer's 6 and doubled up to 17.  The dealer pulled out a 3 and a King to win so could have been £4 up if that double had gone my way.

Still £5 up after 5 days.

Blackjack Experiment Day 4 - WIN WIN WIN

Day 4 today and what a turnaround.  I won the first 5 hands including a Blackjack and a twist to 21 which paid 2:1 at the casino.  A couple of lost hands followed with another Blackjack and a split hand which i doubled to 21 and lost the other split.

All in all i recouped my losses and am back in the black, £4.80 in profit after 4 days.

Black Experiment Day 3

Day 3 and another loss.  Three days on the trot i have lost the first hand and today i had one of these days when the dealer twisted to 18, 19, 20, 21 on at least 5 occasions.  The result being that I am another £1.80 down.  A Blackjack (i got 1) seems to pay £2.20 rather than the usual £2.50, maybe i need to find another game!

So to summarise

Day 3 - £1.80 loss total £3.60 loss 


Tomorrow is now quite important, I have to make a profit.  

£10 Blackjack Experiment - Day 2

Easy come easy go, £4.80 loss today, i got a Blackjack which account for the 20p i think but a few unlucky hands.  I split two 7s when up against a six and got a 17, then a 2 in the other which i doubled to 19.  The dealer got a 5 then a King to make 21, gutted with that one.  If i had held on 14 the dealer would still have won but i cost myself an extra £2 in the bet.

So given my £3 gain yesterday, I am now £1.80 down after 2 days.  Here's hoping tomorrow brings more luck.

Blackjack £10 play - day 1 results

Day one is over, i played my 10 hands and am £3 in profit.

I had no Blackjacks, two double downs (one won and the other was drawn with a 3 card 21) and a twist to 21 which beat a 19.

All in all a decent start, £3 a day profit for a month is £90.

£10 a day Blackjack experiment

Here's a wee thought of mine, can i deposit £10 and play 10 hands of Blackjack a day, no more, no less, and come out in a profit.

Worst case scenario is I lose my £10 in the first day and stop playing.  Imagine however, if i kept winning £5 a day, that's £150 in profit after a month.

By playing just £10 a day I can hopefully tap into a streak of bad luck by the dealer and be in and out before his luck turns.

Euro 2012 day 5 and another winner

Day 5 and another winner last night, Ibrahimovic at 7/1.

Not much going on this day except Russia will beat Poland and 11/8 is a decent price.

euro 2012 day 4

bit of a damp squid yesterday with neither player playing at least we didn't lose and got our money back. Today I really fancy Benzema to score against England and France to win at 5/1. Also back Benzema first goal at 6/1. Good luck.

Euro 2012 day 3

So two winners in 2 days with Mario Gomez finding the net yesterday.

Today is another tricky one so we'll have to go with the form dog in one game and the goalscorer from the qualifiers in the other

First up is Spain v Italy.  He finished the season well so I am going for Fernando Torres at 6/1.
Later is Croatia v Ireland, back Eduaro at 7/1.
